StudyCard can contain descriptors:

  • Definition: Descriptors are detailed explanations or characteristics that provide context and specificity to the assessment of performance or competence. They offer a nuanced understanding of the quality and attributes associated with an individual’s achievements.
  • Example: Descriptors in a grading rubric for an essay may include criteria such as clarity, coherence, and depth of analysis, offering detailed insights into the quality of the written work.

A descriptor is typically comprised of the following sub-sets (with “performance” as parent):

  • Performance:
    • Descriptors
    • Indicators
    • Level

Each of these sub-sets includes a name, description, and additional information. They are also customizable and expandable according to individual preferences or requirements.
